Ekiugbo Community Elects New Executives Amidst Tight Security

EKIUGBO Community in Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta has elected new executive amidst tight security for next there years.
Those elected are; Mr. Bernard Baker as President, Chief Happy Erhimu as Vice president, Mr. Freeborn Onotaniyowho as Secretary, Mr. Alex Ogbevire as Fin. Sec., Mr. Sylvester Udumebraye as Treasurer.
Others are, Mr. Lawrence Egedegbe as Assistant Secretary, Mr. Reuben Adogbeji as PRO, Mr. Michael Onomrobo as Auditor, while Mr. Lucky Eruemu and Mr. GoodLuck Anighoro as Organizing Secretary and Chief Whip respectively.
Also on the  Uvwie (Youth) council,  Comr Ogheneochuko Erhieyovwe was elected as Chairman, Comr. Owhojero Orubu as vice chairman, Mr. Peter Ogaga as Secretary, Mr. Jerry Atanikoro Treasurer, Mr. Alex Oshemishere as PRO,  Mr. Oke Okorume as Spokesman, Mr. Darlington Eruemu Fin. Sec., Mr. Eguono Baker Organizing Sec. and Samson Onoguren, Mr. Kingsley Ubor as Assistant Secretary and Chief Whip.
The newly elected President,Baker in his speech vows to bring rapid development to Ekiugbo community.
“My leadership would continue to pursue ideas that will bring in peace, good relationship within and outside our community that will attract investors.
“Without the support of our people were cannot do it and we will continue from where the outing executive stop in bringing to our community government presence and good governance.”
Speaking on the vein, the youth chairman, Comrade Ogheneochuko Erhieyovwe said, the era where our youths will be roaming without job is over because, our administration would put everything in place to ensure that they are engaged.
We shall work closely with the central executive, security agents to make Ekiugbo a safe haven for investors. We must grow and move to the next level of development.
The outgoing President, Comrade Ovwigho Emmanuel in his speech said,  “It has not been easy for the period for me and executive but I am glad that our tenure is coming to an end without any rancour.
“Some persons thought we are not willing to leave our position but to their greatest surprise, election were conducted as you can see under tight security.
“I am particularly happy for a day like this because anything that has a beginning must have an end and am appealing to the newly inaugurated executive to continue to work diligently to see more development in Ekiugbo.”
